Self Management Hacks #2

In my previous post, I asked if you have practices that you can lean on this week to increase efficiency and your sense of fulfillment.


Have you discovered them for yourself?


These are my Top 3 practices that help make me feel accomplished and fulfilled at the end of the day.


  • Consciously break bad habits, like getting distracted with checking Facebook notifications, or giving in to tendencies to snack or attend to chores in the middle of a task (personally, this is an accomplishment in itself!)

  • Constantly make good habits stick, by choosing simple habits that are easy and lasting, like having a morning "pre-game routine", and setting a time for rest, meals, etc.

  • Progressively quit procrastination, by following through on what I had set out to do at the start of my day

These daily practices have certainly helped me improve on getting things done on time, without stress or tension.


On top of that, I always have these mood essentials within reach, for those days where I need that bit of help to relieve tension or anxiety. When you are calm and happy, you can decide where your focus goes. You get to take control of your emotional well-being, and ultimately the quality of your day.
